ERA has added a very interactive way for charities to request computers, and
for donors to be matched up with the type of charities and non profit groups they would like to donate to the most. Charities, and non
profits can fill out the charity request form, and include all of their information. After it has been approved for addition to the
website, the charities will appear on a list from which you can choose and donate to directly. Companies with equipment to donate can
fill out the new request for pickup form, and select what additional services they require.
Check here
for a list of charities and non profits that require computers, monitors, laptops, and other type of equipment. |

One of ERA's directors
is quoted in several magazines and
newspapers in regards to the
injustices of the new BC electronics
recycling program. The new program
will prevent reuse of laptops,
computers and servers, by smelting
all of this equipment and forever
preventing any charities, non profit
groups, or people from using this
equipment again.

ERA donates laptops to
Calgary's Cradles to Crayons so kids
can play and learn about computers
on them. These laptops were
otherwise destined to a shredder or
smelter if it were not for the ERA.
We ask for all companies and people
of Alberta, British Columbia and
Canada to donate their old computers
and laptops, as they can help others
learn. Just because your old
computer or computers are no longer
good to you, somebody else can still
use them.

ERA announces the
opening of our Vancouver warehouse.
ERA has been looking for the perfect
location for our Computer and
Electronics Depot for about 1 year
now. We have finally found a
location that is perfectly suited.
Located close to a City of Vancouver
dump, large metal recycler and paper
recycler, ERA positions itself to
deal with the enormous demand for
our service in Vancouver. Grand
opening ceremony is scheduled for
April 10th, 2007, and invitations
will be send in the near future.
ERA looks forward to working with
companies and the government in
Vancouver and British Columbia, to
collect old computer to donate to
charities, non profit groups and
poor people. The same computers that
could otherwise be a hazard for our
environment. |

ERA donates several
computers to Calgary's
Croatian-Canadian Multicultural
Center and 55 Plus Seniors Activity
Center. For pictures
click here. If you want to
contribute to similar donations ERA
is planning in the near future,
please contact us immediately to
donate your old computers, laptops,
and servers. ERA is very short on
laptops and computer monitors right
now, and could use your help. If
your company has older computers to
donate, or you have an old computer
or laptop in your basement please
deliver it to one of our donation
depots, or to our warehouse
directly, and see the difference you
can make in your community. |

ERA adds several new
depots for residents in Calgary to
be able to donate their old
computers, laptops, servers and
networking equipment. Please check
out our depot locations, Calgary
section for new depots in the NW,
SW, NE, and SE where you can deliver
your laptops and computers for
donation. ERA reminds all Calgary
residents that ERA is the only
organization that collects old
computers, laptops, servers and
networking equipment for donation.
Any other "recycling depots" and
City of Calgary drop off points,
will only collect computers for
SMELTING.
If your computers are potentially
useful please deliver them to one of
the ERA donation locations, as ERA
can fix them, and donate them to our
community, poor people and other
types of charitable organizations. |

ERA is in need of 500 laptops and
500 computers systems, including
monitors and printers for a large
project we are working on right now.
This project includes providing up
to 10,000 residents with access to
computers from a library type
setting, to connect them with the
rest of the world, and increase
opportunities for these people.
Before disposing of your old
computers, please contact us, as
your computers and laptops could
still be very useful to somebody. |

ERA sends several laptops to help
a charitable organization in El
Salvador be able to run their
program. These laptops were
collected from companies in Alberta,
that would otherwise been buried in
landfills or smelted. The Habitat
for Humanity in El Salvador has
informed us that the schools there
are still using all paper, and that
our donation was seen a huge gift.
We hope people in Alberta and Canada
will realize how fortunate we all
are, and will help us by donating
more laptops and computers to us to
help more causes like this.
