Reuse & Recycling

ERA can help organizations who have electrical and electronic equipment to dispose of. We can collect loose equipment from anywhere within the major cities outlines and palletized equipment from anywhere on in Canada and US.

We collect most Office equipment, Vending Machines, Telecommunications Equipment including Mobile Phones, Servers, etc. For a full list please of accepted equipment click here.

Asset Maximization

For organizations who need their systems upgraded urgently and can’t wait for a buyer of old equipment to be found, ERA provides an Asset Maximization service. We will collect your old equipment, refurbish them, and find buyers for them. Initial trials have found that a typical organization can recover 5% of the initial cost of redundant IT equipment.

Certified Drive Wiping


	ERA has RCMP/DoD certified software, degaussers, and large drills to destroy data any way necessary.

Studies have shown that the fear of sensitive data being recovered from old equipment is one of the biggest obstacles to re-use. With ERA you can be reassured that your data will be secure from retrieval. We can remove all data from your equipment up to the US Department of Defence standards, RCMP standards, or degauss or physically can destroy your data as required and issue certificates of certified drive wiping.

Charitable Donation

We can also arrange for unwanted equipment to be tested and given to charity or can purchase your surplus equipment and donate the proceeds to charity.

If you need an inventory of your equipment and a breakdown of how they are disposed of, ERA can assist in counting, labeling, bar-coding and recording all equipment to be disposed of.

Electronic Recycling Association has an on-going program to train and develop youths from socially-disadvantaged backgrounds through our work placement schemes. These programs are conducted in conjunction with re-employment organizations. Our aim is to help these youths overcome the pattern of social exclusion and become upstanding members of our society.
