Jesus Christ Hope Center, Vision Academy,
ESL Center in Calgary Alberta.
This organization teaches new comers to
Canada the English language to enable integration into society and ensure
job opportunity for these individuals. A really nice place located in
downtown Calgary, on 7th Avenue and 8th Street SW. Several computers were
installed at their location in the computer classroom.
Wesley Andrews, a young computer technician
training with the E.R.A. installed the computers with the supervision of
Bojan Paduh. This young fellow is very talented and has taken computer
collected with the E.R.A. programs, put them together from pieces and made
them into usable equipment.
This donation as well as the others were
made possible by participation of E.R.A. member organizations, that
continue to contribute old computer equipment and dispose of non working
items through programs offered by E.R.A. Such organizations include
companies like: Imperial Oil Ltd, SMED International, The Brick,
University Technologies, and others.
Similar organization enabling job creation,
learning for dissadvantaged communities, etc, located in Alberta are
welcomes to request equipment. Any organizations with a need for proper
disposal of their IT equipment, or that wishes to donate electronic
equipment, can also contact us.
