ERS Training and Development Centre is a non-profit organization located in Montreal dedicated to supporting individuals who are interested in finding meaningful work. ERS has successfully delivered more than 190 training programs since 1986.

The main objective of ERS is to provide participants with the tools they need to improve their employability, and life situations. ERS offers a full-time Job Preparation Program also known as PPE (Le projet de de préparation à l’emploi subsidized by Services-Québec) in English for anglophones and allophones who wish to develop long-term skills, become autonomous, and reach their meaningful job. This program offers participants a holistic approach to change by offering experiential sessions that help participants in developing personal skills, improving French conversation, exploring a new career path, practicing job search techniques, and developing relevant digital skills. ERS is engaged in modernizing its computer labs with eight laptops, four tablets, and new monitors. The ERA is happy to be donating four laptops and 4 monitors with the goal by the end of the year to support participants with technology beyond the completion of the program. ERS will be donating its older technology equipment to be refurbished and recycled by ERA.

The ERA works with charities across the country to provide refurbished electronics for their programs. This gives them access to reliable technology while allowing them to apply their resources to what they’re good at, developing programs to help Canadians struggling with poverty, health concerns or are otherwise experiencing misfortune.
