Pioneer Camp Alberta Receives a Chunk of Technology

Donating Technology to an organization who donates their time to kids

We were delighted to donate 3 computers, 2 laptops, a projector and network switches to Pioneer Camp Alberta. This organization was set up for the purpose of helping children and youth grow spiritually, mentally, socially and physically in a fun-filled and safe place of adventure and challenge.

This donation will increase their office’s workability by having faster machines. Speaking with Della Ganske, Office Manager at Pioneer Camp Alberta she stated, “The majority of our computer equipment is old and ageing and needs replacement. Receiving a donation of this nature would substantially increase our offices’ abilities to perform work more effectively and efficiently.”

Most organizations have a limited budget that they can dip into. While speaking with Della, she explained, “Receiving electronic equipment donations would also allow us to redirect limited budget dollars to other areas, such as program development for the various summer camps that we run during the summer.”

Pioneer Camp

Founded in 1951, they have been operating ever since as a life-changing summer camp for children and youth. They are committed to seeing young people transformed by the love of God actively at work in their lives. They are part of a network of nine InterVarsity camps across Canada operating under the names Circle Square and Pioneer Camp.

In addition to their summer camp ministry, they also operate as a retreat centre for the months of September to June.
