School Age Care Directors Association of Alberta Receives 15 Projectors

By electronic recycling association October 16, 2020

School Age Care (SAC) programs are an important part of Alberta’s economy.  By providing before and after school care for children in kindergarten through grade six, SAC programs enable parents to fully participate in the workforce. The Electronic Recycling Association is proud to contribute to this initiative by donating 15 projectors to School Age Care Directors Association of Alberta (SACDA) for presenters to use during their session for the conference they are hosting.

The mission of SACDA is to provide school age care programs with a province-wide network of community-based support and to improve the availability of quality, affordable school age care for Alberta’s families.

In support of their mission, SACDA has four primary objectives:

  • To provide professional networking opportunities for their members through monthly meetings, tours of centers, conferences, and their ‘Laugh & Learn’ networking series of workshops
  • To create a dialogue with other stakeholders so that they might raise awareness of the challenges being faced in the industry
  • To develop relationships with other professional organizations and work towards common goals
  • To stay abreast of current research findings and new, innovative approaches to child care.
