The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is helping organizations and communities access the technology they need through our Computer Grant Program. Free refurbished technology may be available to eligible applicants across Canada.
ERA works with businesses and organizations to collect retired and unwanted electronics. Instead of allowing reusable devices to go to waste, we refurbish them and give them a second life by donating them to charities, schools, nonprofits, students and community programs in need.
What Technology Can You Request?
Depending on availability, ERA computer grants may include:
- Laptops and desktop computers
- Monitors
- Tablets
- Smartphones
- Other reusable technology
Whether your organization needs computers for staff, technology for a classroom, devices for students, equipment for a community program or support for a special project, we encourage you to apply.
Help Us Put Technology Where It’s Needed
ERA’s goal is to reduce electronic waste while helping bridge the digital divide. Every refurbished device that is reused keeps technology in circulation longer and creates an opportunity to support someone who needs access to digital tools.
Organizations are encouraged to tell us what technology they need, how many devices are required and how the equipment will support their programs or community.
