ERA Donates 3 Laptops and 3 Tablets to Bethel Education to Support Digital Learning

By electronic recycling association September 2, 2026

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to continue supporting Bethel Education with a new technology donation of 3 refurbished laptops and 3 tablets.

This donation will provide additional access to reliable technology while supporting education, digital learning, communication, and day-to-day programming.

At ERA, we believe that extending the life of technology can create meaningful opportunities for organizations and communities while also reducing electronic waste.

Supporting Education Through Technology

Access to computers and tablets has become an important part of education and everyday communication.

The 3 laptops and 3 tablets donated by ERA can help Bethel Education expand access to digital tools and online resources while supporting its educational activities.

Reliable technology can assist with:

  • Online learning and educational resources
  • Digital literacy and technology skills
  • Communication and program coordination
  • Research and educational activities
  • Access to online services and information

By providing refurbished technology, ERA helps ensure that usable electronics continue creating value instead of being unnecessarily discarded.

Giving Technology a Second Life

ERA works with businesses, organizations, institutions, and individuals to collect unwanted electronics across Canada.

Whenever possible, reusable computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, and other devices are securely processed, refurbished, and redirected to charities, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations in need.

Equipment that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled.

This approach creates both an environmental and social impact by helping to:

  • Reduce electronic waste
  • Extend the useful life of technology
  • Support organizations that need access to computers and devices
  • Promote responsible electronics reuse and recycling
  • Help bridge the digital divide

The donation to Bethel Education is another example of how unwanted technology can be transformed into a valuable community resource.

ERA’s Computer Grant Program

ERA’s Computer Grant Program connects available refurbished technology with organizations that need it.

Charities, nonprofits, schools, community organizations, and other eligible groups looking for laptops, computers, tablets, monitors, or other technology can submit a request through ERA.

Businesses and organizations can also support the program by donating their unwanted electronics to ERA.

Instead of storing old IT equipment or sending reusable devices directly for recycling, organizations can give their technology an opportunity to create a second impact in the community.

Donate Your Unwanted Electronics

Does your business have old laptops, computers, tablets, phones, monitors, servers, or other IT equipment?

ERA can help securely collect, process, refurbish, reuse, and responsibly recycle unwanted electronics.

Your organization’s old technology could become the next laptop, computer, or tablet supporting a charity, school, student, or community organization.

By choosing ERA, businesses can support secure electronics recycling, technology reuse, e-waste reduction, and community donations through one responsible process.
