May 2013 - ERA donates to Norquest College in Edmonton. These donations will go to deserving students who require computers in order to succeed in their studies.
May 2013 - ERA donates to Camp Moomba in BC. Camp Moomba offers specialized recreational and support progams for children affected by HIV/AIDS. They provide a safe and caring environment for these children, allowing friendship to flourish.

April 2013 - As part of Earth Day, ERA presented at Fluor in Calgary for their HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) week to educate on the importance of proper e-waste disposal. Alistair was onsite to present!
April 2013 - On FRIDAY, APRIL 19th ERA will be hosting a free computer hard drive, cell phone, and USB memory disk shredding service and computer recycling event at its Calgary location: 1301 34th Ave. S.E. from 9:00am - 1:00pm. The event will provide FREE shredding services for individuals and businesses with no limit on the amount of computers and laptops brought in. ERA encourages participants to bring the entire computer and/or laptop if possible as there is always a need for donations for local charities and nonprofits.
April 2013 - ERA teamed up with Enerplus Corporation and was able to fill three donation requests! With the help of Enerplus, ERA was able to fill donations for the Women In Need Society (WINS), Hull Services and McMan Youth Family and Community Services Association. ERA sends a huge THANK YOU to Enerplus for make these donations possible!
April 2013 - ERA donates fifty five (55) PC's to Vecova in Calgary! These PC's will provide an upgrade for the Vecova staff to ensure that they have the proper tools and resources to continue providing such great services and programs to persons with disabilities. ERA is happy to help such a great organization.
March 2013 - Following the successful E-Data Destruction Day that was held in Calgary, ERA partnered with the Edmonton Police Service to host the same E-Data Destruction Day in Edmonton!! ERA staff and Constable Nadine Swist of the Economic Crime Section paused briefly for a photo opportunity while a father and son watch as their home computer is safely destroyed.
March 2013 - ERA donates to The John Howard Society of Canada in Calgary. The John Howard Society's goal is to help those who have run into problems with the law and criminal justice system. Ben and Anita were onsite for this donation!
March 2013 - As part of Fraud Prevention Month ERA, in partnership with The Calgary Police Service, hosted E-data Destruction Day at Chinook Centre in Calgary. This day was used to educate the public on the importance of ensuring that any personal data on their unwanted IT equipment is properly destroyed and not simply discarded.
March 2013 - ERA donates to the Falconridge/ Castleridge Community Association Daycare Centre in Calgary. These computers will be used by both the staff and the children of the Daycare Centre. ERA was happy to provide the Daycare Centre with six new computer systems which were desperately needed.
March 2013 - ERA donates to the CanLearn Society in Calgary. These laptops will be used by staff to make onsite visits to children, youth and adult clients who experience multiple learning barriers. These laptops will greatly aid in removing those barriers and allowing access to education.
March 2013 - Happy International Women's Day! ERA is proud to support a day that celebrates the achievements of women across the globe! To kick off International Women's Day ERA donated five computer systems to the Women In Need Society in Calgary. These computers will go to families staying in the housing residence as well as the community resource centre.
February 2013 - ERA donates to the Lunchbox Theatre in Calgary. These donations will go to the Lunchbox staff in order to stay up to date with the shows and marketing.
January 2013 - ERA donates to BC 211. The laptop will be going to a family that BC 211 had adopted for the Holiday Season. This family has children that require a home computer system in order to complete school work.
January 2013 - ERA donates to Community Living BC in Vancouver. This donation is going to a client who is unable to identify colours or numbers but who greatly enjoys being able to find pictures of nature etc online!
January 2013 - ERA donates to NorQuest College in Edmonton. This donation will be used by the student for various classes and to ensure that he stays on top of his studies.
January 2013 - ERA donates to a client of the Ministry of Social Development in BC. This computer will be used by the client's son who has Autism. Through working with the young boy the Ministry of Social Development has seen how well he learns with the help of technology.
January 2013 - ERA donates to the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter in Calgary. These donations will help clients start new and get back on their feet. ERA is happy to help such a great organization.
January 2013 - ERA donates to Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse in Calgary. These computers will help the staff to upgrade their systems and to prepare documents that will aid in spreading the message of their organization.

June 2012 - ERA is launching secure drop off depots across Canada. In partnerships with professional computer handlers, ERA will enable companies and individuals to drop off their computers for donation and recycling. Rest assured your sensitive information will not fall into the wrong hands. Our partners are trained and well educated in handling computers, and ensuring data safety and security is managed. Depots are being added to our website over the next few months, to our Depot Locations page.
December 2012 - ERA donates to the Calgary Immigrant Educational Society. They work to provide education, multimedia information, job bank, and referral services to newcomers and economically disadvantaged Calgarians!

November 2012 - ERA donates to the Sharing Farm Society in Richmond. They grow vegetables and harvest healthy produce to give to charitable food distribution organizations.

October 2012 - ERA donates to the Glenwest Centre for Kids. These computers will be used by the facility to aid in the educational learning of the children as well as upgrade the systems used by their staff!
October 2012 - Today, the Missing Children Society of Canada will be able to upgrade their systems with the donation of 10 desktop computers from ERA! Kevin from Husky Energy also joined us on this great donation! Thanks Husky Energy!
September 2012 - ERA donates to the Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver. UGM is an urban relief organization based in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. They offer many programs including counselling for addictions.
September 2012 - ERA donates to the Schizophrenic Society of Alberta in Calgary. This organization works to improve the quality of life for those affected by Schizophrenia and Psychosis.
September 2012 - ERA makes a donation to the Calgary Catholic Immigrant Society (CCIS). These computers will allow the children to keep up with their school work!
September 2012 - ERA donates to the Northeast Community Health Centre in Edmonton!
September 2012 - ERA donated to Manna4Life in Vancouver. Manna4Life does missionary work in the country of Cambodia. They recently completed the Missionary Centre and Computer School. ERA donated the computers within the centre to help teach the local people about technology!
September 2012 - ERA donates to the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association (CIWA) in Calgary. CIWA works to empower immigrant women and enrich Canadian society. They are wonderful individuals who ERA is always happy to help.
September 2012 - ERA donates to the Bredin Institute in Edmonton. The Bredin Institute specializes in successful employment training and development by providing innovative, flexible programs.
September 2012 - ERA makes a great donation to the Alberta Children's Hospital. It will be donated to a family whose child has special needs and regularly comes into the hospital.
August 2012 - Vanessa was onsite for this great donation to the Calgary Dream Centre. The donation will be going to a single mom of 5 children! And it will be used for the children's school work and keep the whole family connected!!
August 2012 - ERA makes a great donation to the SouthWest Communities Resource Centre in Calgary. They will be donated to low income individuals in need.
August 2012 - ERA donates to the Calgary Catholic Immigrant Society. These computers will be gifted to new citizens of Canada. They will help these individuals look for jobs, continue their education and connect with family.
August 2012 - ERA donates to the Easter Seals in Vancouver! Marilyn was onsite for this wonderful donation to a 15 year old girl who is battling cancer. She had just received her first chemotherapy treatment before this picture so her mom stepped in for the photo.
August 2012 - ERA donates to the Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver! This donation will help to ensure that the individual will be able to stay connected with his family and the rest of the world!
July 2012 - ERA donates to the Calgary Chinese Community Services Association. These 5 laptops will be used to help upgrade their systems! Thank you for being so welcoming!
July 2012 - ERA makes a donation of 12 computers to the Independent Living Resource Centre of Calgary. These computers will be used to open a new training room that will allow them to host classes on numerous topics from Spanish to Reception Skills.
June 2012 - ERA makes a donation to the Calgary Catholic Immigrant Society. These donations will help new Canadian citizens with looking for jobs, keeping up with their studies and staying connected with their families.
June 2012 - ERA made a donation to the Gospel Mission in Vancouver. Our lovely Donations Coordinator, Marilyn, was onsite to present a very deserving individual with a laptop that will be used to search for a job and reconnect with his family.
June 2012 - ERA makes a donation of 16 monitors and all the accessories to Columbia College. They will be donated throughout the facility and to individuals in need of assistance.

A huge success!; This year, ERA collected more than a full truck load of used computers, laptops and electronics at the Recycling Stampede 2011. Thank you to the team at DEERFOOT MALL for allowing us to host another event at your location!

APRIL IS EARTH MONTH
This year is very exciting for ERA, as we are involved in a number of community events in celebration of EARTH DAY!
We are encouraging all schools, businesses and households to gather up all their computer and electronic equipment for donation or recycling during the month of April.
Plan a day or a week to allow your employees to bring in items from home, and ERA will provide a FREE pick-up service for all the collected items!
If more than 100 items are collected at one location, ERA will PLANT A TREE in the name of your company and send an honorary certificate for your participation!
All computers and laptops will be Securely Wiped before donated back into the community or recyled.
We look forward to making April a greener month with you!

ERA donates computers to Providence Calgary; A therapeutic and educational pre-school for children with disabilities.
These donated computers were the end resultof a recent company merger between "Grant Thornton LLP", a national accounting, tax and business advisory firm, and "Alger & Associates" an Alberta-based corporate recovery and personal bankrupcy firm. December 09, 2009: The ERA has been very busy this year donating computers and recycling electronics. Another great video of ERA is featured on Shaw TV recently. Watch here.
Major News; ERA plans to become the first and only, emission free, clean power, non profit reuse and recycling organization. Our plans include installing wind turbines, solar panels, and hydrogen generators. We plan to power everything from this website, our telephones and computers to our cars and pickup trucks with wind, solar and hydrogen power. Stay tuned for our progress. If you are in this industry, we would love to hear from you if you can help us with material or tools and equipment necessary.
ERA opens its free computer libraries in Edmonton and Vancouver; ERA has opened up a library in Edmonton, and Vancouver, where people can use of of our 15 recycled computers at no charge. For research, resume building, and other purposes. More information will be available soon.

Today we donated computers to the Further Education Society of Calgary. The systems will be used in locations such as women's shelters, affordable housing complexes, community resource centres, and immigrant and aboriginal service agencies.
