The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce a recent donation of 3 laptops and 5 phones to Seeds of Spice Varsity Acres in Calgary, Alberta, a school care program that supports children from kindergarten to grade 5.
Supporting Creative Learning
At Seeds of Spice Varsity Acres, programming goes beyond traditional care — the goal is to create hands-on, engaging, and imaginative experiences that enrich children’s development. The donated devices will not be used in the conventional sense for schoolwork or administrative purposes. Instead, they will serve as tools for imaginative play, role-playing, and creative exploration.
By incorporating laptops and phones into their activities, children will have the opportunity to expand their creativity through storytelling, pretend play, and interactive group projects. These experiences help build critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills while making learning fun.
