The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to announce the donation of five desktop computers with peripherals to the Redeemed Christian Church of God – Jesus House Scarborough, a community-oriented organization serving families, youth, newcomers, and vulnerable individuals in the Scarborough area.
Empowering Community Programs Through Technology
RCCG Jesus House Scarborough provides a variety of programs focused on education, family support, youth empowerment, and community outreach. Access to reliable technology plays a key role in delivering these initiatives – helping community members develop digital literacy skills, search for employment, complete schoolwork, and connect with essential services.
The donated computers will support the organization in strengthening their ongoing programs, expanding digital access for participants, and improving administrative capacity.
Extending the Life of Technology Through Reuse
ERA is committed to reducing electronic waste in Canada by refurbishing and redistributing usable equipment to charities, schools, and non-profits. By extending the life of technology, we help communities access the tools they need while diverting electronics from landfills.
This donation reflects ERA’s mission to make technology both accessible and sustainable, ensuring it continues to create value where it is needed most.
Gratitude and Collaboration
We are grateful to RCCG Jesus House Scarborough for their ongoing work supporting families and individuals in need, and we are proud to play a small part in their efforts.
ERA looks forward to continuing meaningful partnerships that uplift communities and reduce e-waste across Canada.
