ERA & Port Moody Police Host Free Data Security Event for Fraud Prevention Month
In recognition of Fraud Prevention Month, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to partner with the Port Moody Police Department to host a free community Data Security and Electronics Recycling Event to help protect residents from fraud, identity theft, and data breaches.
Old laptops, phones, hard drives, and other electronic devices often still contain sensitive personal and financial information. Simply deleting files is not enough to protect your privacy. Proper data destruction and secure electronics recycling are essential steps in preventing identity theft and fraud.
