Secure Electronic Recycling & Data Destruction Events Across Canada

March is Fraud Prevention Month 2026, and the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to partner with law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and business leaders across Canada to host secure electronic recycling and data destruction events.

Old electronics often contain sensitive personal and financial data. If improperly disposed of, they can become a gateway for identity theft and fraud. That’s why ERA is leading secure, community-based events focused on data protection, identity theft prevention, and responsible electronic recycling.

As a Canadian nonprofit, ERA prioritizes a reuse-first model, ensuring working devices are refurbished and donated before recycling.
