The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated an iPad to the Calgary Renegades Water Polo Club, supporting the organization’s day-to-day planning, communication, and program coordination.
Community sports organizations play an important role in promoting teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and youth development. By providing essential technology, ERA helps organizations like the Calgary Renegades Water Polo Club operate more efficiently while continuing to provide valuable programs for athletes in the Calgary community.
The donated iPad will assist the club with administrative tasks such as organizing schedules, coordinating events, communicating with team members and families, and managing club operations. Access to reliable technology allows volunteer-run organizations to focus more time and energy on developing athletes and strengthening community connections.
At ERA, we believe that technology should be accessible to organizations that make a positive impact in their communities. Through its electronics donation program, ERA collects unwanted electronics from businesses and individuals, securely wipes all personal and corporate data according to industry standards, refurbishes usable devices, and redistributes them to charities, schools, and nonprofit organizations across Canada.
By extending the life of electronic devices, ERA helps reduce electronic waste while ensuring valuable technology reaches organizations that can benefit from it most.
ERA is proud to support the Calgary Renegades Water Polo Club and their ongoing efforts to promote sport, teamwork, and community engagement in Calgary.
Organizations in need of technology or businesses interested in donating electronics are encouraged to visit www.era.ca or call 1-877-939-2783 to learn more about how they can get involved.
