The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to partner with Oxford Properties to host Earth Day electronics recycling events at two prominent Vancouver office locations. This collaboration supports sustainability initiatives and provides tenants with a convenient way to responsibly recycle unwanted electronics.

These events are part of a broader effort to encourage responsible e-waste management, reduce landfill waste, and promote the reuse of technology within local communities.

Oxford Properties will host the electronics recycling events at the following locations:

Guinness Tower

Supporting Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility

Oxford Properties continues to demonstrate leadership in environmental responsibility by making electronics recycling accessible directly within their buildings. By partnering with ERA, Oxford Properties is helping tenants take part in responsible recycling and reducing the environmental impact of electronic waste.

ERA ensures that all collected electronics are handled in accordance with strict environmental and data security standards. Reusable equipment is refurbished and donated to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations, helping extend the lifecycle of technology and support digital inclusion.

Secure Data Destruction and Responsible Recycling

All electronics collected during the events will be securely processed by ERA. Services include:

  • Secure data wiping
  • Physical data destruction (if required)
  • Responsible recycling of end-of-life electronics
  • Refurbishment for charitable donation
  • Recycling and data destruction certificates available upon request

ERA prioritizes reuse before recycling, ensuring that working devices are directed to organizations that can benefit from them.

Accepted Electronics

Participants are encouraged to bring common office electronics, including:

  • Laptops and desktop computers
  • Monitors and accessories
  • Mobile devices and tablets
  • Printers and peripherals
  • Cables and small electronics

Driving Community Impact Through Reuse

Through this initiative, Oxford Properties and ERA are helping divert electronic waste from landfills while supporting community organizations in need of technology. Refurbished equipment collected during the events will be redistributed to charities and non-profits, helping bridge the digital divide.
