About ERA

The Electronic Recycling Association is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to reducing electronic waste through reuse, responsible recycling, and charitable technology donations. ERA works with businesses, governments, and communities to securely collect unwanted electronics and redistribute refurbished equipment to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations in need.

ERA’s mission is to reduce e-waste, promote digital inclusion, and extend the life cycle of electronics through responsible reuse. By prioritizing refurbishment and donation, ERA helps bridge the digital divide while supporting environmental sustainability.

Supporting Responsible Electronics Recycling

Improper disposal of electronics contributes to environmental pollution and data security risks. This event offers residents a convenient and secure way to recycle unwanted electronics.

ERA follows a reuse-first approach, prioritizing refurbishment and donation of working devices to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations. Electronics that cannot be reused are recycled responsibly in accordance with environmental standards.

Donation Impact

After the collection, reusable electronics will be securely processed, refurbished, and donated to charities, schools, and community organizations. These donations help provide access to technology, support education, and empower individuals who may not otherwise have access to essential digital tools.

By participating in this event, community members directly contribute to both environmental protection and meaningful social impact.

Accepted Items

ERA accepts a wide range of electronics including computers, laptops, monitors, printers, cables, and other IT equipment.
