The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to partner with Heartfelt IT to host a week-long Earth Week Electronics Recycling Event in Ottawa, taking place in the Kanata Business district. This initiative provides businesses and organizations with a convenient and secure way to recycle unwanted electronics. It also supports environmental sustainability and responsible data management.

The collection will take place at Heartfelt IT’s Kanata location. As a result, Ottawa-area businesses will have an accessible drop-off point for end-of-life IT equipment. Additionally, the week-long format encourages participation. It also helps reduce electronic waste across the local community.

Supporting Responsible Electronics Recycling in Ottawa

Through this partnership, ERA and Heartfelt IT aim to promote responsible electronics recycling in Ottawa. In addition, the event raises awareness of sustainable IT asset disposition. Functional equipment collected during the event will be assessed for refurbishment. Then, suitable devices will be donated to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations. Equipment that cannot be reused will be responsibly recycled.
