The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce the return of our “Parts to PC” youth workshop in Calgary this May 2026. This hands-on program is designed to inspire the next generation of tech enthusiasts by teaching real-world computer skills in a fun and engaging environment.
A Hands-On Tech Experience for Youth (Ages 12–15)
Wouldn’t it be exciting to build your own computer from scratch?
Our Parts to PC workshop gives students the opportunity to:
- Disassemble and reassemble a computer step-by-step
- Learn what each internal component does
- Understand how hardware works together to power a machine
- Gain basic troubleshooting skills
From loose parts to a fully functioning system, students will experience the complete journey of building a computer—and even test their finished machine at the end.

- Location: ERA Calgary Depot – 1315 73rd Ave SE, Calgary
