4,350 lbs of electronic waste collected through community collaboration!
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to share the success of our recent electronics collection event in partnership with Grant Park!
Together, we took another important step toward reducing electronic waste, promoting sustainability, and encouraging responsible electronics recycling within the community.
Thanks to the support of Grant Park, our dedicated team, and everyone who participated, the event was a great success, with an impressive 4,350 pounds of electronic waste collected!
A Successful Day of Electronics Collection
Throughout the event, community members came together to responsibly dispose of their unwanted and outdated electronics, contributing to a successful collection of 4,350 lbs of electronic waste.
Thanks to the participation of local residents and the support of Grant Park, a significant amount of electronics was collected for responsible recycling and potential refurbishment and reuse, helping reduce electronic waste and support sustainability efforts in Winnipeg.
This achievement highlights the positive impact of community involvement and the importance of making responsible electronics recycling accessible to everyone.
Making a Difference Through Responsible Recycling
Electronic waste continues to be one of the fastest-growing waste streams worldwide. When improperly discarded, electronics can contribute to environmental pollution and the loss of valuable reusable materials.
At ERA, we believe that every device deserves a second chance. Our mission focuses on extending the life of electronics through refurbishment and reuse whenever possible, while ensuring that devices that cannot be reused are recycled responsibly.
Events like this help keep electronics out of landfills, conserve valuable resources, and raise awareness about the importance of sustainable technology management.
Thank You to Grant Park and Our Community!
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Grant Park for partnering with ERA and supporting this successful collection initiative.
We are also grateful to everyone who participated and took the time to drop off their unwanted electronics. Your contributions help make responsible electronics recycling more accessible and support a cleaner, greener future.
