Building a Greener Future Through Community Electronic Recycling

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce a successful technology recycling partnership with Bruce Public School in Toronto, Ontario, demonstrating the powerful impact that schools and communities can make when they come together to protect the environment.

Through this collaborative electronic recycling drive, ERA and Bruce Public School successfully diverted 803.5 pounds of electronic waste from landfills, ensuring these materials were responsibly recycled, refurbished, or repurposed in accordance with environmental best practices.


Tech Drive Results: Measurable Environmental Impact

Thanks to the incredible effort of students, staff, parents, and community members, the drive collected:

  • 4 Desktop Computers
  • 61 Laptops
  • 5 Projectors
  • 1 All-in-One Computer
  • 18 Cell Phones
  • 3 Wireless Access Points
  • 66 Tablets
  • Plus assorted wires, keyboards, mice, adapters, and peripherals

Every device collected represents harmful materials kept out of landfills and valuable resources reintroduced into the circular economy.
