By electronic recycling association April 22, 2026

On April 18, 2026, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) proudly participated in the Centretown Earth Day Festival in Ottawa with a successful Electronics Recycling Collection Event held at Dundonald Park.

Hosted by the Centretown Community Association, the festival celebrated sustainability, community connection, and environmental action – and ERA was honoured to help residents responsibly recycle their unwanted electronics.

ERA is proud to have partnered with the Centretown Community Association for this meaningful Earth Day initiative, bringing together environmental awareness, community engagement, and practical action to reduce electronic waste in Ottawa.

390 lbs of Electronics Collected in Ottawa

Thanks to the support of Ottawa residents, a total of 390 lbs of electronics was collected during the event.

This material was diverted from landfill and will now be securely processed through ERA’s reuse-first system, where working devices may be refurbished and donated, while non-reusable items are responsibly recycled.

Every pound collected helps reduce environmental waste and supports a cleaner, greener future.

Strong Community Partnership for Earth Day

This event highlights the value of partnerships between local organizations and community leaders working toward a common goal.

ERA was proud to collaborate with the Centretown Community Association to provide a free and convenient recycling opportunity for residents while supporting a broader Earth Day celebration focused on sustainability and local engagement.

Together, partnerships like this help communities create lasting environmental impact.
