The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), together with Morguard Real Estate Investment Trust, successfully hosted a Free Electronics Recycling Collection Event at Charleswood Centre in Winnipeg. This collaborative initiative brought the community together to support responsible e-waste management – and the results were truly impressive.
A Successful Community Impact Event
On October 24, 2025, residents and local businesses arrived throughout the day with laptops, desktops, accessories, and various IT equipment. Thanks to the dedication of everyone who participated, the event collected approximately 2,000 lbs. of electronic materials.
This remarkable outcome demonstrates the community’s strong commitment to sustainability and reinforces the importance of proper e-waste recycling.

Every device dropped off contributes to reducing the harmful impact of electronic waste on the environment. Through ERA’s programs:
