Secure Electronics Recycling and Data Protection

ERA specializes in secure electronics recycling, data destruction, refurbishment, and technology reuse.

Electronics collected through ERA are assessed to determine whether they can be securely refurbished and reused. Equipment that cannot be reused is processed through responsible recycling channels.

Protecting personal and business information is also an important part of ERA’s process. Data-bearing devices are handled through ERA’s secure data destruction procedures before eligible equipment is prepared for reuse.

Giving Technology a Second Life

ERA believes electronics recycling should create both environmental and community impact. Whenever possible, reusable computers and other technology are refurbished and redirected to charities, schools, non-profit organizations, and community programs that need access to technology.

The Computers for Cancer event gives the Colborne community an opportunity to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronics while supporting an important local initiative.

Together, ERA, Hi-Tech Solutions Computer Services, The Sian Bradwell Fund For Children With Cancer, and the Colborne community can help keep electronics out of landfills, extend the life of reusable technology, and support a meaningful cause.
