The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Edmonton Riverhawks to host an Electronics Recycling and Collection Event on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 10233 96 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta.

This community initiative encourages residents to donate their unwanted electronic devices, helping to reduce electronic waste and support digital inclusion across Canada. In appreciation of their contribution, all individuals who bring an item for donation will receive a complimentary ticket to the Riverhawks Movie Night on Friday, June 27, featuring Angels in the Outfield.

Accepted Electronic Items

The ERA will be accepting a wide variety of electronic devices, including:

  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • Smartphones
  • Desktop computers
  • Servers
  • Printers
  • Networking equipment
  • Computer parts and accessories
  • Gaming consoles
  • Software

All donated electronics will undergo secure data destruction in accordance with industry standards. The ERA ensures that all personal and business information is permanently removed before any item is refurbished or redistributed.

Supporting Environmental Sustainability and Digital Access

As a Canadian nonprofit organization, the ERA is committed to reducing electronic waste and repurposing technology to support over 500 charities, nonprofits, and schools currently on its waitlist. By partnering with the Edmonton Riverhawks, this initiative strengthens community engagement while promoting environmental responsibility.

The event offers Edmontonians an excellent opportunity to responsibly recycle their used devices while supporting a greater cause. By donating electronics, participants help extend the life of technology, reduce landfill waste, and provide essential tools to organizations in need.
