By electronic recycling association January 13, 2026

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Mishka Social Services in Hamilton, Ontario, through a recent technology donation that included four laptops, one printer, and one monitor — helping strengthen the organization’s operations and expand its ability to serve individuals and families in need.

Mishka Social Services provides critical community support programs, offering assistance to newcomers, vulnerable families, and individuals facing social and economic challenges. Access to reliable technology is essential for managing client records, coordinating services, communicating with community partners, and delivering effective programming.

This donation enables Mishka’s team to improve efficiency, enhance service delivery, and focus more resources directly on helping the community they serve.

Turning Electronic Waste into Community Impact

Through ERA’s national reuse-first electronic recycling program, donated corporate devices are professionally refurbished, fully data-wiped to industry standards, and prepared for safe reuse before being responsibly recycled at end of life.

By extending the lifecycle of technology, ERA helps organizations meet ESG objectives, reduce electronic waste, protect sensitive data, and increase digital access for nonprofits and community groups across Canada.
