Electronic Recycling Association: Earth Month Challenge

As you may know, the month of April is Earth Month and we are excited to be part of something so meaningful. April is now set aside for an exposition on all things that revolve around our Earth. We become more aware, more educated and take action in bettering our planet.

During Earth Month on the 22nd each year we acknowledge Earth Day. Earth Day is the largest environmental event in the world. Over six million Canadians—including nearly every school-aged child—participate in an Earth Day activity in their communities. In celebration of this special day, many organizations throughout Canada partner up to create new and exciting initiatives. It is celebrated all over the world by over a billion participants.

Founded in 1990, Earth Day Canada is a national environmental charity. They offer free, year-round, award-winning programs which help to educate and inspire Canadians of all backgrounds, age groups and sectors to reach local environmental solutions. Their mission is to encourage and celebrate environmental action, respect and behavior change that minimizes our impact on the earth.
