ERA Donates Tech to Support Refugees and Youth in Toronto
At the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), we are committed to reducing e-waste and bridging the digital divide by refurbishing and donating electronics to charities, schools, and non-profits across Canada. With over two decades of experience, ERA has helped thousands of organizations gain access to reliable technology while promoting sustainable e-waste management.

Our latest donation of 20 laptops, 2 projectors, and 5 desktop computers to Bethel Community Outreach Services in Toronto, Ontario will support their education and community programs. These refurbished devices will enhance digital literacy training, STEM learning initiatives, and remote operations for the organization.
ERA’s Mission: Reducing E-Waste and Supporting Communities
ERA works with businesses, individuals, and institutions to collect unwanted electronics and refurbish them for redistribution. By extending the life of these devices, we help prevent e-waste from ending up in landfills while ensuring underserved communities gain access to essential technology.
Our mission is driven by three key objectives:
- E-Waste Reduction: We promote environmentally responsible recycling and ensure electronics are reused whenever possible.
- Technology Access: By providing refurbished laptops, computers, and other devices, we empower charities, schools, and non-profits with the tools they need to succeed.
- Community Impact: Each donation supports education, employment training, and operational efficiency for organizations that make a difference.
