ERA Donates 150 Devices to York Region Educational Services
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support York Region Educational Services in Ontario with the donation of 150 refurbished electronic devices. This donation—consisting of 75 laptops, 50 monitors, and 25 projectors—will help launch new computer labs in Toronto and across Canada, supporting youth education programs and volunteer workstations.

As part of ERA’s mission to promote electronic recycling in Canada, these devices have been expertly refurbished and repurposed to benefit communities in need. Rather than ending up in landfills, valuable electronics are being redirected to support digital inclusion, educational advancement, and community development.
York Region Educational Services is committed to providing academic support, skills training, and volunteer opportunities to youth. With this donation, the organization can expand its digital learning infrastructure and better serve the community.
ERA currently has over 500 Canadian charities on its waitlist seeking technology to power their programs. If your organization or business has unwanted electronics, laptops, desktops, or tablets, now is the perfect time to make an impact. Every donation helps bridge the digital divide and reduce electronic waste.
ERA adheres to the highest standards in electronic recycling and data security, proudly holding the following certifications:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 – Information Security Management
