The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce a donation of three refurbished laptops to Love Soluble Inc. in Maberly, Ontario.
Love Soluble operates the Manie Daniels Center, an 8-bed addictions rehabilitation treatment facility dedicated to supporting pre-incarcerated adult males on their journey to recovery from substance use disorder. The center provides residents with a structured path toward healing, growth, and eventual reintegration into society.
Supporting Education and Recovery
Recently, Love Soluble established a newly built classroom where residents engage in:
- Recovery curriculum and step work
- Life skills training
- Personal development activities
Until now, the center relied on outdated Linux-based desktop computers. These limitations prevented residents from accessing the full range of tools they needed for learning and growth.
With ERA’s donation of laptops, residents now have access to modern, reliable technology that allows them to:
- Participate fully in their recovery curriculum
- Gain valuable computer literacy and life skills
- Attend online AA/NA meetings when they cannot participate in person
For individuals in recovery, maintaining connection to support systems is vital. These laptops will serve as a bridge, ensuring residents can remain engaged in their programs and connected to the wider recovery community.

At the Electronic Recycling Association, our mission goes beyond responsibly recycling electronics. By refurbishing and donating devices, we help organizations like Love Soluble access the technology they need to empower people and strengthen communities.
Every donation we make supports education, recovery, and inclusion, while also reducing e-waste and promoting environmental sustainability.
