ERA Donates Electronics to Lake Bonavista Cub Scouts for Hands-On Learning
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Lake Bonavista Cub Scouts in Calgary, AB by donating electronic devices for their hands-on learning activities. These devices provided young Scouts with an opportunity to dismantle and repurpose components, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and an early interest in technology.
As part of their programming, the Scouts have hosted four successful sessions for youth aged 8-14, where they explored the inner workings of electronics. The older Scouts have taken their learning a step further, repurposing circuit boards, motors, fans, and wires to build robotics and other innovative creations.
By donating electronics for educational use, ERA is not only helping to reduce e-waste but also inspiring the next generation of tech enthusiasts. We are thrilled to see young minds engaging with technology in meaningful ways, and we look forward to supporting more community initiatives like this in the future.
