Electronics Recycling Drive – Toronto
Dates: March 25 – March 31, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre
Address: 50 Sousa Mendes Street, Toronto, ON, M6P 0B2

This Toronto electronics recycling event invites the community to drop off unwanted electronics for responsible reuse and recycling. By participating, community members help divert e-waste from landfills and contribute to technology donations for charities and non-profit organizations in need.

Collected equipment such as computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT devices will be evaluated for refurbishment and donation. Items that cannot be reused will be responsibly recycled following environmental standards.

Supporting Digital Inclusion in Toronto

This electronics recycling drive connects environmental responsibility with social impact. Many families and community organizations across Toronto still lack access to essential technology. Through ERA’s reuse-first approach, functional devices are refurbished and redistributed to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations.

The Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre supports children, youth, and families through educational programs and community services. Technology collected during this drive will help expand access to digital tools, educational resources, and skill-building opportunities.

By donating electronics, participants help:

  • Reduce the digital divide
  • Support local community programs
  • Extend the lifecycle of technology
  • Promote sustainable reuse

Reducing E-Waste Through Responsible Recycling

Electronic waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams globally. ERA addresses this challenge by prioritizing electronics reuse before recycling. Devices are securely wiped, refurbished when possible, and donated to organizations that need technology.

Equipment that cannot be reused is processed through certified recycling channels, ensuring:

  • Responsible material recovery
  • Reduced landfill waste
  • Environmental protection
  • Secure data destruction

This approach supports both sustainability and digital access across Toronto communities.

How to Participate
