ERA Donates Technology to Aangen
At the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), we believe that repurposing technology is one of the most powerful ways to support communities in need. Each donation we facilitate is more than a computer, it’s a tool for connection, learning, and meaningful change.
We’re thrilled to highlight one of our most recent contributions to Aangen: A Community Service Organization, a Toronto-based nonprofit dedicated to social impact and community resilience. Aangen offers a range of essential programs, from food security and housing support to job training and community outreach, all rooted in a mission to create sustainable change for vulnerable individuals.

To help support their growing technology needs, ERA donated two laptops and one desktop computer to Aangen. These devices will play a crucial role in streamlining administrative tasks, expanding digital literacy initiatives, and strengthening the delivery of their vital programs.
This donation reflects what we stand for at ERA- reducing electronic waste by giving devices a second life and using that opportunity to empower people and organizations making a difference every day.
Your Unused Devices Can Make a Difference
While we’re proud of the impact donations like this have, the need across Canada continues to grow. ERA currently has a list of over 500 charitable organizations waiting for electronics to help fuel their missions. Your unused laptops, desktops, and IT equipment can directly support this growing demand.

Whether you’re a business upgrading your systems or an individual with a few devices you no longer use, donating your equipment can help bridge the digital divide and support nonprofits like Aangen in their critical work.
Together, we can extend the lifecycle of technology and create lasting value in our communities. Let’s work toward a greener future, one device at a time.
