The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to continue its mission of reducing electronic waste and promoting digital inclusion across Canada. As part of its ongoing charitable efforts, ERA has recently donated 25 refurbished monitors to The Refugee Centre, a Montreal-based organization that provides sustainable integration support for refugees and immigrants across the country.
This donation will help The Refugee Centre’s team enhance their operations and continue delivering vital programs and services to newcomers. By providing refurbished technology, ERA ensures that valuable equipment is given a second life — supporting organizations that make a tangible difference in their communities while minimizing environmental impact.
Through this collaboration, ERA and The Refugee Centre are bridging the gap between environmental responsibility and community empowerment. With these monitors, The Refugee Centre can continue its mission to equip refugees and immigrants with the tools, education, and resources they need to thrive in their new communities.
About ERA’s Charitable Impact
Since 2004, the Electronic Recycling Association has been dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability and social responsibility. Through its refurbish-and-donate program, ERA securely collects, repairs, and redistributes unwanted electronics to charities, schools, and nonprofits across Canada.
Each year, ERA donates hundreds of devices, helping to bridge the digital divide and give communities the tools to learn, connect, and grow — creating both environmental and social impact through reuse and empowerment.
