The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has donated eight laptops to Steam IC in Brampton. This initiative ensures that all participants of the STEAM Innovation Challenge (STEAM ICAC) have the essential technology they need to engage fully in the upcoming innovation conference.
The Electronic Recycling Association is dedicated to reducing electronic waste through recycling and repurposing devices. This recent laptop donation to STEAM ICAC underscores ERA’s commitment to sustainability and education. By providing these laptops, ERA is not only giving new life to electronic devices but also empowering young minds who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
STEAM ICAC, a registered Canadian non-profit and student-led organization, is on a mission to foster creativity, collaboration, and excellence in STEAM disciplines. The organization’s annual innovation challenge empowers students by providing hands-on experience and encouraging them to solve real-world problems. Through this competition, participants develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to sustainability.
The Electronic Recycling Association’s mission to support non-profits with affordable technology is driven by the belief that technology should be an enabler, not a barrier. We invite other organizations and individuals to join us in this cause. Through donations and support, we can collectively make a significant impact, ensuring that more non-profits have the tools they need to succeed.
