ERA Donates Laptops and Monitors to DramaWay in Toronto
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce the recent donation of two laptops and two monitors to DramaWay, a Toronto-based organization providing inclusive arts programming for individuals with disabilities. This donation will support DramaWay’s administrative team, helping them enhance internal operations and better serve their community.
Supporting Inclusive Arts Through Sustainable Technology
DramaWay empowers individuals of all abilities through creative arts such as drama, dance, and filmmaking. Their programs focus on building confidence, communication skills, and social connection for people with developmental and physical disabilities. However, like many nonprofits, DramaWay faces financial constraints that limit access to up-to-date technology for day-to-day operations.
As a nonprofit organization ourselves, the ERA understands how difficult it can be to secure funding for essential equipment. That’s why our technology donation program exists—to bridge the digital divide for charitable organizations while keeping electronic waste out of Canadian landfills.
Promoting Electronic Recycling and Community Impact
At ERA, we collect unwanted electronics from individuals and businesses, securely erase all data, and refurbish the equipment for donation to charities, schools, and nonprofits in need. Our recent donation to DramaWay is one of hundreds made each year to support local initiatives that are making a real difference.
