The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated a refurbished laptop to the YMCA of Three Rivers – Employment Services in Kitchener, Ontario. This donation will help the organization’s staff and interns stay connected and efficient as they continue providing vital employment and community support programs across the region.
Supporting Digital Access and Community Impact
The YMCA of Three Rivers serves as a vital hub for individuals and families in Kitchener and surrounding areas, offering programs that build health, confidence, and community engagement. With this new laptop, the organization’s employment services team can streamline administrative tasks, manage client programs more efficiently, and expand their digital outreach efforts.
Enhancing Operations with Reliable Technology
The donated laptop will be used for essential daily activities such as checking in clients, managing employment resources, and creating outreach and fundraising materials using tools like Canva and Google Workspace. Because the YMCA team often works from multiple locations, portability and performance are crucial. ERA’s contribution ensures they can continue operating effectively—whether in the office, at community events, or out in the field.
“We appreciate the donor and your efficient work to make our staff benefit from this donation.”— Li Z., Employment Services, YMCA of Three Rivers
