ERA Donates Computer Equipment to Le Zèbre Rouge in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Québec

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to support Le Zèbre Rouge, a community-focused organization in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Québec, with the recent donation of a desktop computer and a laptop.

Le Zèbre Rouge had been operating with a single aging computer that could no longer keep up with the organization’s daily needs. With a limited budget and growing demands on their programs, accessing upgraded technology was a challenge. ERA’s donation helps ensure the team can continue delivering essential services without being held back by outdated equipment.

At ERA, our goal is to reduce e-waste and promote digital inclusion. By refurbishing donated electronics and redistributing them to charities, nonprofits, and schools across Canada, we help extend the life of valuable technology while keeping it out of landfills. Donations like this one support organizations that rely on functional IT to manage operations, communicate with clients, and deliver programming effectively.

Every device donated to ERA undergoes secure data wiping and assessment. If suitable for reuse, it is refurbished and matched with a charity in need. If not, it is responsibly recycled through certified Canadian partners. This process ensures environmental responsibility while supporting hundreds of organizations each year.

The computer equipment will help Le Zèbre Rouge streamline their operations and improve their ability to serve the community. We are proud to assist organizations that make a meaningful impact and look forward to supporting many more across Québec and Canada.

If you or your organization have unwanted electronics, consider donating them to ERA. Your retired devices can directly support charities like Le Zèbre Rouge while contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
