The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Valley Community Learning Association (VCLA) with the donation of five refurbished laptops, helping expand access to technology for learners in the community.
Technology plays an essential role in education, employment, and everyday life. By providing reliable computers to organizations such as VCLA, ERA helps ensure that individuals have the tools they need to develop new skills, access online resources, and pursue greater opportunities.
Valley Community Learning Association is dedicated to supporting adult education, literacy, and lifelong learning. These laptops will provide participants with improved access to digital learning, online training, employment resources, and essential computer skills that are increasingly important in today’s world.
This donation also highlights the environmental benefits of technology reuse. Every refurbished laptop extends the life of valuable electronic equipment, reduces electronic waste, and gives a high-quality device a meaningful second life in the community. By prioritizing reuse before recycling, we can create both social and environmental impact.
At ERA, we believe that retired technology still has tremendous value. Through our Technology Donation Program, businesses, organizations, and individuals can help support charities, schools, non-profit organizations, and community programs across Canada by donating their unwanted electronics.
We would like to thank Valley Community Learning Association for the important work it does to empower learners and strengthen the community. We are honoured to support its mission and look forward to seeing these laptops make a lasting difference.
If your organization has computers or other electronic equipment that is no longer being used, consider donating it through ERA. Together, we can reduce electronic waste while creating new opportunities for communities across Canada.
