The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated 2 laptops to Hope in the Dark, a charity based in Calgary, Alberta. By donating laptops to the organization, ERA has facilitated the day-to-day administrative work of the charity, enabling them to provide essential support and services to those in need.
Hope in the Dark is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families facing adversity. From assisting the homeless to supporting families in crisis, the charity plays a vital role in the local community. However, behind their acts of kindness lies the logistical challenge of administrative tasks.
The laptops donated by ERA are more than just devices; they are tools for transformation. With these technological assets, Hope in the Dark can streamline their operations, managing intake processes, assessing referrals, and organizing case files with greater efficiency. Additionally, these laptops enable the charity to stay connected with their national team and partners through virtual meetings, fostering collaboration and synergy in their outreach efforts.
If you want to make a difference to both people in need, and the environment, then it’s time to start electronic recycling with the ERA. And it’s not as difficult as it seems. We here at the Electronic Recycling Association have made it easy for everyone. If there is any electronic device – cell phone, tablets, laptop – that you want to donate, we will take it off your hands.
You can either drop it off at one of our depots located across Canada or we can organize a pick-up at a time that suits you. It’s that easy!
