CALGARY ALPHA HOUSE SOCIETY – SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

On Tuesday January 23rd 2018, we were pleased to donate a computer to the Calgary Alpha House Society (AHS). This computer will be donated to a client of AHS in Calgary. He will use it to surf the web, reply to emails and connect with his friends near and far through social media accounts.

The Calgary AHS is a non-profit, charitable agency that provides safe and caring environments for individuals whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drug dependencies. AHS was established in 1981 as a place of safety for men and women who are struggling with addictions, as well as mental and physical health issues. Their continuum of programs helps connect these individuals with multiple levels of support such as outreach programs, a shelter program, a detox program, and a housing program with case management support. The volunteer program includes both corporate and individual support.
