The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has donated a laptop to the Eritrean Community Network, also known as New Nakfa. This contribution will play a crucial role in supporting New Nakfa’s mission to uplift Eritrean-Canadian youth in the Greater Toronto Area.
New Nakfa is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young Eritrean newcomers who have faced significant challenges in their journey to Canada. These individuals often arrive with limited education and resources, making it difficult for them to pursue their dreams and realize their full potential. New Nakfa understands these struggles and has made it its mission to eliminate the barriers that prevent these youth from succeeding.
The laptop provided by ERA will be instrumental in furthering the education and skill development of Eritrean-Canadian youth. In today’s digital age, access to technology is more than a convenience—it’s a necessity. This donation will allow New Nakfa to continue offering essential tools and resources, ensuring that these young individuals have the opportunity to thrive in their new environment.
