The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Safe Haven Foundation of Canada with a donation of a projector and a computer monitor, helping strengthen the organization’s technology infrastructure for youth programming, education, and community outreach.
Empowering Young Women in Calgary
Safe Haven Foundation provides safe housing, life skills training, and supportive programming for vulnerable and at-risk young women in Calgary. Through mentorship, education, and stable community support, the organization helps young women build confidence, independence, and brighter futures.
Reliable access to technology is crucial for this work. The donated equipment will support a variety of program activities, including:
- Educational workshops and group programming
- Presentations, training, and community events
- Digital literacy, skill-building, and communication development
The projector will be used for group learning and interactive presentations, while the monitor will help enhance daily operations and improve access to digital tools for staff and participants.
Technology with Purpose
At ERA, we refurbish donated electronics and redistribute reusable equipment to non-profits, schools, charities, and community organizations across Canada. By extending the lifespan of technology, we promote digital inclusion, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment.
This donation reflects ERA’s ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that create positive social impact and provide meaningful opportunities for youth.
A Shared Commitment to Community
ERA is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Safe Haven Foundation’s mission. We are inspired by their dedication to helping young women thrive, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting their continued success.
