ERA Donates Technology to Support Project Abraham’s Newcomer Programs

By electronic recycling association November 26, 2025

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to announce the donation of three refurbished laptops and two printers to Project Abraham, a Canadian nonprofit organization that provides critical support to refugee families and other newcomers as they settle and rebuild their lives in Canada.

Project Abraham offers essential assistance including advocacy, trauma support, community integration, employment readiness, and educational resources. Access to reliable technology plays a vital role in these efforts, helping families navigate settlement tasks such as job applications, online learning, communication, and digital literacy development.

Through ERA’s refurbishment and reuse program, we prepared and delivered three refurbished laptops and two printers. These devices will support Project Abraham’s clients and volunteers by improving access to digital tools necessary for daily tasks, education, and community integration.

Supporting Community Through Reuse

ERA reduces electronic waste by refurbishing and donating technology to organizations across Canada. By extending the life of devices, ERA provides practical tools that directly strengthen community programs and support vulnerable populations.

Recycling Electronics, Powering Communities

This donation reflects ERA’s commitment to reducing e-waste and supplying charities with the essential technology needed to deliver their services efficiently.
