In honour of International Youth Day, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) proudly donated 200 electronic devices to York Region Educational Services (YRES). This contribution will directly support youth programs, providing students across the community with greater access to technology and digital learning resources.
Supporting Education and Digital Inclusion
YRES is dedicated to delivering educational support, skill-building opportunities, and community programs that foster academic success. By integrating these refurbished devices into their programs, the organization will be able to expand digital access, enhance learning experiences, and better prepare youth for future opportunities in our technology-driven world.

Celebrating with Community Leaders
The donation event was marked by the presence of Members of Provincial Parliament Billy Pang and Logan Kanapathi, who joined ERA and YRES to celebrate International Youth Day. Their participation underscores the importance of community collaboration in empowering young people and ensuring they have the tools needed to succeed.

A Commitment to Sustainability and Opportunity
This initiative highlights ERA’s mission to reduce electronic waste by refurbishing donated devices and placing them with charities, schools, and non-profits across Canada. By extending the life of technology, ERA not only diverts electronics from landfills but also supports vital community programs—creating lasting social and environmental impact.
On this International Youth Day, ERA is proud to help bridge the digital divide and champion youth potential—one refurbished device at a time.
