The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), in partnership with Madagascar Fanantenana Teknolojia (MFT), continues to make a global impact by supporting education and digital access for communities in need.

As part of this mission, ERA and MFT recently donated 10 laptops and 1 projector to the Regional Directorate of Youth and Sports of Bongolava in Madagascar. This donation will help support the development of their library and improve access to educational resources for young people and the wider community.

These devices will provide students and community members with better access to digital learning, important educational materials, and essential technology that helps create more opportunities for long-term growth and success.

The donation event was attended by a representative from the Ministry as well as the Regional Director of Youth and Sports of Bongolava, highlighting the importance of this initiative and its positive impact on local development.

This donation is part of ERA’s larger commitment to reuse before recycling. By refurbishing and donating electronics through trusted international partners like MFT, ERA helps reduce electronic waste while ensuring valuable technology reaches schools, charities, libraries, and nonprofit organizations that need it most.

Through these global partnerships, the Electronic Recycling Association continues to help donate thousands of laptops and devices worldwide, creating both environmental and social impact.

ERA and MFT remain committed to expanding access to technology, supporting education, and building stronger communities through sustainable electronic reuse.
