The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) proudly supports community organizations across Canada through responsible electronics reuse and technology donations. As part of this mission, ERA donated 4 iPads, 4 mobile phones, and 1 projector to Futures Leadership Institute. This donation helps strengthen programs and improve access to essential digital tools.
Empowering Future Leaders Through Technology
Futures Leadership Institute focuses on building leadership skills, confidence, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Technology plays an important role in delivering workshops, training sessions, presentations, and digital learning programs.
Through this donation, the Institute can now:
- Deliver more engaging presentations using iPads and a projector
- Improve communication and coordination with mobile devices
- Increase digital access for participants and facilitators
- Support daily operations and program delivery

The Electronic Recycling Association carefully evaluates all donated electronics. When possible, ERA refurbishes and prepares devices for reuse. This process reduces electronic waste and supports a sustainable, circular economy.
ERA also ensures data security. Every donated device goes through secure data destruction before reuse. This step protects privacy while maximizing environmental and social impact.
