The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to partner with Mamas for Mamas Calgary to host a Free E-Waste Collection Event in Calgary, encouraging responsible electronics recycling while supporting families and community programs.
This community-focused event makes it easy for individuals and businesses to safely recycle unwanted electronics and help keep e-waste out of landfills.
Event Details – Calgary E-Waste Drop-Off
- Location: Mamas for Mamas Calgary #1–1715 27 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7E1
- Dates: January 12–16, 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (daily)
This is a free, public e-waste recycling event in Calgary, open to individuals, families, and small businesses.
What Electronics Can Be Recycled?
ERA will accept a wide range of electronics, including:
- Laptops and desktop computers
- Monitors, keyboards, and mice
- Printers and small office electronics
- Cables, peripherals, and IT accessories
All items are processed through secure, responsible reuse and recycling programs, following ERA’s certified environmental and data security standards.
Why January Is the Best Time to Recycle Electronics
After the holidays, many households and offices upgrade their devices- making January one of the busiest times for electronic waste. Hosting a week-long e-waste collection event allows the Calgary community to participate at their convenience.

As part of the “Recycle for Mamas” initiative, eligible refurbished electronics may be redirected to support families served by Mamas for Mamas.
