Join the ERA & Langley RCMP Fraud Prevention Month Event
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is partnering with Langley RCMP for Fraud Prevention Month to help you securely dispose of your personal data. Join us for a special Data Security and Electronic Recycling Disposal Event!
On Thursday, March 6th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we invite you to visit the Otter Co-op Retail Centre at 3650 248 Street, Langley, BC, V4W 1X7 for this important community event.
What You Can Expect at This Free Event:
Secure Electronic Recycling
Do you have unwanted electronic devices such as hard drives, computers, laptops, phones, tablets, or other gadgets storing sensitive information? Bring them to our event! You’ll have the option to either securely recycle your devices or have the data wiped clean on-site. All items collected will be refurbished and donated to those in need of electronic devices.
On-Site Data Destruction
For added peace of mind, we will offer on-site data destruction using ERA’s advanced shredding machine. This ensures that all data on your devices is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure to remove hard drives from your devices before bringing them in.
Make a Difference
Alongside the electronic recycling service, we encourage attendees to support the Raphael House Food Bank through non-perishable food donations or monetary contributions. Your generosity will help make a positive impact in our local community.
Accepted Items:
We welcome a wide variety of electronics, including:
- Consumer electronics
- Desktop computers
- Laptops and handheld devices
- Printers, peripherals, and phone systems
- Servers, racks, and specialty items
However, we cannot accept household or personal appliances.
Don’t miss this opportunity to protect your data and support a good cause! We look forward to seeing you there!
