From Electronic Recycling to Community Impact in Aurora

Aurora, Ontario — The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to donate one desktop computer and one laptop to the Aurora Historical Society to support its work in preserving and sharing Aurora’s rich local history.

As a volunteer-driven organization, the Aurora Historical Society relies on technology to manage archives, digitize records, conduct research, and engage the public through educational programming and exhibits. This donation will help strengthen their daily operations and improve access to historical materials for the community.

“At ERA, we believe in extending the life of electronics to reduce e-waste while creating meaningful social impact,” said Bojan Paduh, President of the Electronic Recycling Association. “We are proud to support organizations like the Aurora Historical Society that play a vital role in preserving local heritage.”

Through ERA’s donation program, all devices are securely wiped using ERA’s RedKey USB process and thoroughly tested before being placed with nonprofit and community organizations across Canada.

ERA is grateful for the opportunity to support the Aurora Historical Society and remains committed to empowering community organizations through sustainable technology donations.
