The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated a refurbished laptop and printer to the BC Centre for Ability in Vancouver, British Columbia, helping support the organization’s mission of empowering individuals with disabilities to lead active, independent lives.
The BC Centre for Ability provides vital programs and services for children, youth, and adults with neurological, physical, and developmental disabilities. The donated technology will assist the team in streamlining administrative work and improving communication with clients and partners across the province.
At the Electronic Recycling Association, we believe that reusing electronics is one of the most effective ways to reduce e-waste while supporting charities and community groups in need. Every refurbished device gives someone a new opportunity — whether it’s through education, accessibility, or employment.
Since 2004, ERA has been committed to promoting reuse before recycle, securely refurbishing thousands of electronic items and donating them to charities, schools, and nonprofit organizations across Canada.
If your or your company would like to donate decommissioned or surplus devices, please contact the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) at 1-877-9EWASTE (1-877-939-2783) or visit www.era.ca.
